How our coffee is decaffeinated
Swiss Water® Process
San Francisco Bay Coffee utilizes the environment-friendly Swiss Water® Decaffeination Process, which does not rely on chemicals to extract the caffeine. Instead, it involves soaking the unroasted (green) coffee beans in very hot, pure water to essentially dissolve the caffeine and then filter it out.
Our team carefully monitors the 10-hour process to ensure an end result of 99.9% caffeine free and 100% delicious!
